Pedro Capó launches his own dark rum brand


Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Pedro Capó announced his new step into the business world with the launch of Ron Capó, a premium dark rum that honors Puerto Rico's rich rum tradition.

In collaboration with CC1 Companies, Capó presented this new proposal that not only highlights his facet as an artist, but also as an entrepreneur committed to his land and culture.

Ron Capó, carefully aged to offer deep amber tones and complex flavors, is the result of meticulous craftsmanship led by master rum maker Felix Mateo, who brings more than 40 years of experience in the industry. With special attention to quality, this premium rum seeks to position itself as a symbol of the excellence of the Puerto Rican distillery in the global market.

"For me, Ron Capó is a celebration of our roots and what defines us as Puerto Ricans. From the process of making it to the moment it is enjoyed in a toast, this rum is made to tell a story, our story," Capó said of his motivation behind the project.
