On 3/9/2023, Dynamic Technologies Group Inc, Dynamic Technologies Inc., Dynamic Attractions Ltd., Dynamic Entertainment Group Ltd., Dynamic Attractions Inc., and Dynamic Structures Ltd. sought and obtained an initial order (the "Initial Order") from the Court of King's Bench of Alberta (the "Court") for protection from its creditors under the Company’s Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”).
FTI Consulting Canada Inc. was appointed monitor ("Monitor") of the Applicant.
On 5/17/2023, Dynamic Technologies Group Inc. (Case #23-41416), Dynamic Structures Ltd (Case #23-41421), Dynamic Attractions Inc. (Case #23-41417), Dynamic Attractions Ltd (Case #23-41418), and Dynamic Entertainment Group Ltd (Case #23-41419) filed Chapter 15 Bankruptcy Petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas (Ft. Worth) to gain the recognition and protection of the US Court for their Canadian proceedings under the CCAA.
On 10/4/2023, The Chapter 15 cases for all but Dynamic Attractions Inc. (Case #23-41417) were terminated in the US Court. Dynamic Attractions Inc.'s case remains open for procedural purposes as the Debtors complete their foreign proceedings under the CCAA.
