The Company's principal business activities include the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Mexico, either directly or through its investment in Proyectos Mineros La Preciosa S.A. de C.V. (Proyectos Mineros). The Company has focused its activities on a contiguous land package in Durango, Mexico consisting of the La Preciosa, Santa Monica and San Juan properties (together the La Preciosa Project properties). La Preciosa property consists of a block of mineral exploitation concessions covering 32,400 hectares (80,000 acres) located southeast of the village of Francisco Javier Mina, northwest of the village of Francisco I. Its Carina project covers 3,100 hectares located 45 kilometers northeast of the City of Durango. In April 2013, Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp acquired Orko Silver Corp.
