Business Summary
Aspen Group Resources Corporation (Aspen) is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas properties located primarily in Alberta and Manitoba in Canada and in the state of Oklahoma in the United States. Aspen owns a 100% working interest in leases totaling approximately 3,000 acres in the Daly Field, Manitoba. It produces 32 degree American Petroleum Institute (API) light oil (marketed as Cromer oil, named after the Cromer oil terminal) from the Mississippian Lodgepole Formation at an average depth of 2400 feet. Approximately 80% of the oil has been produced from the Middle Daly Member with the balance of the production coming from other members within the Lodgepole Formation, which includes the Upper Daly Member and the Cruickshank Crinoidal Facies. On March 12, 2008, it sold its working interest in the property located in the Union Jack area of Saskatchewan to Fuego Resources.
