On 8/19/2016, InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust and Bluesky Hotels and Resorts Inc. completed the previously announced plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (Alberta), pursuant to which Bluesky Hotels and Resorts Inc. acquired all of the issued and outstanding units of InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust.

Business Summary
InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) is an open-ended real estate investment trust, which owns interests in a portfolio of hotels across Canada. The REIT owns over 110 Canadian hotels, as well as interests in approximately two partnerships, which own over two hotels, each operating under international brands. Its segments include Limited Service, Midscale and Upscale. Limited-service hotels have rooms-only operations with few additional services and amenities. Upscale hotels are full-service hotels, which include a restaurant, pool, lounge facilities and meeting space, and offer additional services, often, including bell service and room service. Midscale hotels consist of full-service and select-service hotels. Its hotels operate under the brands, including Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Marriott and others. The REIT leases its hotels to InnVest Hotels Trust. The REIT has operations within over four Canadian geographical regions, including Western, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic.
