Atlas Resources is an indirect subsidiary of Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. (ARP), a publicly traded master limited partnership and an independent developer and producer of natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas liquids, with operations in basins across the United States. The MGP markets the majority of its natural gas production to gas marketers directly or to third party plant operators who processes and markets the gas. The production area and pricing indices for the Appalachian Basin are Dominion South Point, Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Transco Leidy Line. The Partnership's natural gas, oil and natural gas liquids (NGL) customers primarily include Chevron Natural Gas, Hess Energy, Interstate Gas Supply, Inc., and Castleton Commodities Merchant Trading L.P.
