Business Summary
Veripos Inc (Veripos) is a provider of positioning services primarily to the offshore industry worldwide. The Company operates a worldwide network of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference stations on land to generate differential corrections and data augmentation for use by vessels that require accurate positioning data. On November 27, 2013, Hexagon AB acquired around 27.4% stake in the Company. On December 23, 2013, Hexagon AB transferred the 27.4% stake in Veripos to its indirect subsidiary Hexagon Acquisition Ltd-OBI. In March 2014, Hexagon Acquisition Ltd, holding about 97.28% of shares together with Hexagon Positioning Ltd, merged with Veripos Inc, with the Company as the surviving corporation. Hexagon Positioning Ltd became the owner of 100% shares in Veripos Inc, which applied to Oslo Bors for delisting of the shares.
