On 9/25/2026, Nano Banc was closed by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was appointed Receiver. Sunwest Bank of Sandy, Utah, assumed substantially all of Nano Banc’s deposit accounts and acquired certain assets. Nano Banc’s holding company, which owned all shares of stock, was not involved in the transaction.
