Business Summary
Metric Property Investments plc is a United Kingdom-based retail property investment company. It focuses on assembling a portfolio of freehold and long leasehold retail properties throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Company will invest principally in the retail property markets, but may also invest in multi-let leisure schemes. Its retail parks consist of Bedford, Bristolm Congleton, Coventry, Hove, Inverness, King’s Lynn, Launceston, Leeds, Mansfield, Milford Haven, Newry, Sheffield and Wick. In November 2011, it created a joint venture with Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd (USS) known as the Metric Income Plus Limited Partnership (MIPP). In July 2012, the Company announced that MIPP acquired the B&Q unit in Camborne, Cornwall and two units on Midland Road, Bedford. In December 2012, the Company acquired two properties. In January 2013, the Company merged with London & Stamford Property PLC.
