Business Summary
Sino Shipping Holdings Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiaries, provides maritime transportation services through the commercial operation of its vessels. The Company specializes in transporting minor bulk commodities, including log and forest products, iron and steel products, fertilizer, agricultural products, cement and palm oil, and basic chemical and petrochemical products in China and Southeast Asia. Its revenues are derived substantially from the chartering of its vessels. As of December 31, 2009, the Company’s fleet consisted of two shallow-draft bulk carriers known as Qiao Yin and Nan Jing. On July 18, 2009, the Company sold its chemical tanker, Heng Zhou, to an unrelated third party, and it terminated its in-charter agreement for the bulk carrier, Heng Shun. In 2010, the Company terminated its in-charter agreement for the general cargo vessel, Agios Spyridon.
