Raven Biofuels International Corporation (Raven) is a renewable fuels company. The Company is engaged in the development and production of alternative based fuels. The Company has acquired a worldwide technology license to an acid hydrolysis process that converts agriculture cellulosic waste into ethanol. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company ceased its previous operations, which consisted of receiving sales commissions from a third-party company based on the revenues generated by an e-commerce business. As of December 31, 2008, Raven had not yet commenced construction on its proposed biofuel plants. On August 26, 2008, the Company acquired Superior Biotechnologies Corporation (Superior). The acquisition primarily consisted of the acquisition of a technology license agreement that Superior has from Pure Energy Corporation (Pure Energy), and the acquisition of an agreement for the rights to construct a bio-fuel plant in India.
