Business Summary
Urastar Gold Corp., formerly Urastar Energy Inc. is primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Mexico and United States. On October 18, 2011 the Company announced that it has commenced drilling on the Blackpoint Au-Ag property. The El Antimonio property consists of approximately 12,500 hectares in seven claims located 40 kilometres west of Caborca, Sonora, in the heart of the Mojave-Sonora Megashear. The El Jabali property covers an area of 70 hectares in east Sonora, Mexico. The Jabali property lies within the Sierra Madre Occidental Tertiary volcanic terrain and within the Mulatos mining district, part of the Sierra Madre gold belt. La Juliana is a gold exploration property, consisting of 700 hectares located in east Sonora in the Mulatos Gold Belt. In May 2013, Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd acquired the entire share capital of Urastar Gold Corp.
