Profeco invited a class action against Interjet for user involvements


Through social media, the Federal Consumer Attorney's Office (Profeco) invited users to join the collective action against the airline Interjet, if they suffered any impact on their service in recent weeks.

In order to join this action, a number of documents must be presented, with the aim of being brought before the judge who hears the trial brought against the travel company, in accordance with the official statement.

The instructions for accession, he points out that the first option to submit the papers, is to do so via email. For this purpose, it should be forwarded to the acolectivas@profeco.gob.mx address and all in PDF format no more than 15 MB.

If you reside in any of the states of the Republic, the requested documentation will have to be delivered by parcel to the Consumer Protection Office (ODECO) closest to your home.

In this modality, the first format is the same as mentioned above, followed by three copies of the official identification in force on both sides, three copies of the witness IDs that sign the consent format, on both sides, as well as the original and three copies of the rapporteurship of the facts with the above specifications.

In addition, three copies of the documents to prove the consumer relationship, as well as three simple copies of any other affectation-related documents.

Finally, Profeco noted that "the duration of the class action proceedings depends on the procedural terms and deadlines, as well as the procedural burdens of the court hearing the case".
