Business Summary
International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) is engaged in acquiring new commercial jet aircraft from aircraft manufacturers and other parties and leases those aircraft to airlines worldwide. The Company's portfolio consists of over 919 owned or managed aircraft. As of December 31, 2012, it owned 919 aircraft in its leased fleet, had 15 additional aircraft in its fleet classified as finance and sales-type leases and provided fleet management services for 81 aircraft. In addition to the Company's primary business of owning and leasing aircraft, it also provides fleet management services to investors and owners of aircraft portfolios for a management fee.
