Business Summary
Changing World Technologies, Inc. (CWT) through its wholly owned subsidiary Resource Recovery Corporation (RRC) sells renewable diesel fuel oil and organic fertilizers, which it produces from animal and food processing waste using its thermal conversion process (TCP). TCP can convert a range of organic wastes, or feedstock, including animal and food processing waste, trap and low-value greases, mixed plastics, rubber and foam, into its products. TCP emulates the earth’s natural geological and geothermal processes that transform organic material into fuels through the application of water, heat and pressure in various stages. The Company’s first production facility, located in Carthage, Missouri, has demonstrated the scalability of TCP in an approximately 250 ton per day production operation. Its Carthage facility has the capacity to convert 78,000 tons of animal and food processing waste into approximately four million to nine million gallons of renewable diesel per year.
